1. Problem Identification
2. Sensing (what's wrong)
3. Ideation (how to improve the situation)
4. Implementation (Note: many steps involved here. E.g. prototyping, experimentation, observations)

3M - company that invented Post-Its
DuPont - company that discovered Nylon
Find out how Velcro / Zip-Lock was discovered.

The class will decide the better projects and work in groups of 3.
Use the rules of brainstorming (as commented from the last post).

By April:

• Selected groups entered for Innovator's Program (IvP) / Projects chosen for SST Exhibition Room
• Groups that do well for IvP will go on to represent SST for the Tan Kah Kee Awards (read more about it here). Judging later part of the year.
